NFmoto race suit construction, built to junior sizing
Kids & Junior Race Suit

Kids Race Suit

A custom kids race suit, made to measure with the same CE-certified construction as an adult NFmoto build. Whether described as a children's race suit, a kids motorbike suit, or junior racing leathers, it's built the same way: to the young rider's own measurements, with growth allowance and armour placement considered by NFmoto and confirmed by a parent or guardian before anything is cut.

Same Standards, Junior Sizing

Built to the Same Standard as Adult Race Leathers

Junior road racing is a well-established, properly regulated part of UK motorsport, with the ACU issuing Road Race licences from age 13 and junior series available from age 11-12. A young rider on track needs the same category of protection as an adult racer, not a lighter version of it. NFmoto's kids race suits carry the same CE certification standard, the same armour construction, and the same made-to-measure fitting process as an adult build, sized and patterned for a child's proportions rather than scaled down from an adult pattern. See our full guide for parents on kids and junior fitting for the detail on growth allowance and sizing.

Common Questions

FAQ

Kids Race Suit Questions

Is a kids race suit the same protection level as an adult suit?
Yes — the same CE-certified construction standard is applied to junior builds as to adult NFmoto suits, sized and positioned for a child's proportions.
Is a children's race suit available as one-piece or two-piece?
Both. A one-piece kids race suit and a two-piece jacket-and-trouser set are both available, made to measure either way. A kids racing suit or a kids motorcycle leathers set follows the same process regardless of which name is used.
How is growth allowance handled on a junior racing suit?
Growth allowance is discussed directly with a parent or guardian at the order stage, balanced against correct current fit — a suit sized too loose to accommodate future growth compromises armour placement now. See our kids and junior fitting guide for the full explanation.
What age can a young rider start road racing in the UK?
The ACU issues Road Race licences from age 13, with junior series (non-ACU) available from age 11-12. A parent or guardian is required at every meeting for riders under 18.
Is a kids motorcycle suit the same as kids racing leathers or a youth race suit?
Yes — kids motorcycle suit, kids racing leathers, and youth race suit all describe the same category of garment covered on this page. Whichever term a parent or guardian searches for, the build process, CE certification, and measurement requirements are identical.
