Your Data, Handled Properly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026. This explains what personal data we collect — including body measurements for your custom suit — why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

01

Who We Are

Who is responsible for your data?
NFmoto UK Limited (Company No. 06901711), registered in England & Wales, is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, see the Contact & Complaints section below.
Does this policy cover the whole site?
Yes — this policy applies to nfmoto.com, our contact and measurement forms, our WhatsApp and email communications with you, and any dealer-submitted orders made on your behalf.
02

What We Collect

What personal data do you collect?
Depending on how you interact with us, this can include: your name and email address (contact form); your name, email, and message content (enquiries); body measurements, fit notes, and reference photos (measurement forms, submitted via our portal, WhatsApp, or email); order and design details (leather type, colour, panel layout, personalisation); delivery address and payment confirmation (order fulfilment); and basic website usage data (see Cookies below).
Are body measurements treated differently?
Yes. Body measurements are sensitive personal data, and we handle them with the same level of care as any biometric-adjacent information — restricted access, secure storage, and use limited strictly to producing and fitting your suit. We don't use measurement data for any purpose beyond your order without asking you first.
Do you collect data if I go through a dealer?
If a dealer takes your measurements and submits your order on your behalf, that information is passed to us to produce your suit. The dealer is responsible for how they collect and handle your data before it reaches us; this policy covers what happens once it's in our systems.
03

Why We Collect It

What do you use my data for?
To respond to enquiries, produce and fit your custom suit, process payment and delivery, provide after-sales support and warranty service, and — only if you've opted in — send updates about new products or offers.
What's the legal basis for processing my data?
Mainly: performance of a contract (producing the suit you've ordered), legitimate interest (responding to enquiries, improving our service), consent (marketing communications and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (accounting and tax records).
Do you use my data for anything else?
No. We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use your measurements or order details for anything beyond producing your suit and supporting you afterward, unless you separately agree to something else.
04

Who We Share It With

Do you share my data with third parties?
Only where necessary to fulfil your order or run the business: payment processors (to handle deposits and final payment securely — card details are never stored on our own systems), shipping carriers (to deliver your suit), and website analytics providers (see Cookies).
Do dealers see my personal data?
Dealers only see the orders and customer details relevant to their own submitted orders — never our full customer database. This is enforced at a system level, not just by policy.
Do you share data for marketing purposes?
No. We don't sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their own marketing.
05

International Transfers

Where is my data stored and processed?
NFmoto UK is based in England, and our systems are primarily hosted in the UK/EU. Some service providers we use (such as analytics or payment processing) may process data outside the UK/EU; where this happens, we rely on legally recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Do you have a representative in the EU?
As a UK company offering goods to customers in the EU, we are required under Article 27 of the EU GDPR to appoint an EU representative. [PLACEHOLDER — EU Representative name, firm and contact address to be added here once appointed.] Until this is in place, EU customers can direct any data protection query to us directly using the details in Contact & Complaints below.
What about customers in the United States?
We do accept orders from US customers. Your data is handled under the same UK data protection standards described in this policy. At our current size, we don't meet the thresholds that trigger specific US state privacy laws (such as California's CCPA, which applies to larger businesses by revenue or data volume), but we'll update this section if that changes as we grow.
06

Your Rights

What rights do I have over my data?
Under UK/EU GDPR, you can ask to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion (subject to legal/contractual retention needs, such as warranty records); restrict or object to certain processing; and receive your data in a portable format. You can also withdraw marketing consent at any time.
How do I exercise these rights?
Contact us using the details below. We'll respond within one month, as required by law. We may need to verify your identity before actioning certain requests, particularly around measurement or order data.
Can I ask you to delete my measurements?
Yes, though we'll explain if this affects any active order, warranty cover, or repeat-order convenience (since we keep your measurement history to make reordering faster). We'll always act on a genuine deletion request once any contractual need to retain the data has passed.
07

Security & Retention

How do you protect my data?
We apply access controls so that only staff who need it (for production, fitting, or support) can see your measurement and order data, encryption where appropriate, and regular backups to storage we control. No online system is 100% guaranteed secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps to protect what you share with us.
How long do you keep my data?
We keep order and measurement records for as long as needed to support your warranty (see our Warranty page for cover periods) and to make future reorders straightforward, plus any period required by UK tax and accounting law. Enquiry data not converted to an order is kept for a reasonable period and then deleted.
08

Contact & Complaints

How do I contact you about my data?
Use our Contact page, or message us on WhatsApp. Please mark data-related enquiries clearly so they reach the right person promptly.
What if I'm not satisfied with how you've handled my data?
You have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk. If you're in the EU, you can also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Will this policy change?
We'll update this page as our practices or the law change, and update the "last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know directly if we hold your contact details.
